A vest featuring a large drapey collar and subtle waist shaping. It can be worn over t-shirts or shirts and, with its soft drapey fabric and cut-away shoulders, is also easy to slip on under jackets and blazers.
Two length options are provided. The longer length option (pictured) works well for wearing both out and partly tucked in. The shorter length option allows for less ‘tuck’ when teaming with a high waist.
The vest is worked with one strand of 4-ply yarn held together with one strand of a fluffy-lace type yarn, allowing for many different colour combinations and effects.
It is knitted from the bottom up in the round to the armholes. The upper front and upper back sections are then worked separately flat and joined at the shoulder seams. I-cord edging is worked along the armholes as an interesting alternative to ribbing.
