Cambells Bay is a simple, summer tee with capped dolman sleeves, which is suitable for advanced beginner knitters. It is worked in cotton aran gauge yarn for a quick knit. It has a scooped neck and relaxed fit.
It is worked from the bottom up in the round to the armholes. The front and back are then worked separately to the shoulders. Shoulder shaping and simple ‘sleeves’ are formed by adding stitches at the armhole edges, gradually increasing the width of the front and back. It is seamed at the shoulders, and stitches are picked up to form the neckband and ribbing around the sleeves.
It is written in seven sizes, from 71 cm to 132 cm (28 to 52 inches) busts.
It is named after a late-summer family trip.
